Henning Wehn, German Comedy Ambassador to the UK brings his NEW show 'NoSurrender' to St Mary’s Arts Centre, Sandwich as part of his nationwide tour.
A regular fixture on BBC Radio 4, Wehn has become a familiar pundit giving his idiosyncratic views on the English and the rest of Europe.

You may well have heard Henning on BBC Radio's 'Unbelievable Truth', 'News Quiz', 'Now Show' and 'Fighting Talk' or seen him on TV's QI' , 'Dave's One Night Stand'.
Now's your chance to see the self-appointed German Comedy Ambassador to the UK in the flesh in his sell-out Edinburgh show 'No Surrender'.

Pierrot Panse

Both a singer & storyteller, Pierrot dissects the world and heals our wounds with simple words. "Pieces of life accumulate & collapse but we pick them up and start all over again.  We are strangely made, with our laughter, weeping, dreams and gnashing of teeth!

Tomislav

With a guitar around his neck, kickdrum and high hat at his feet, Tomislav sings and blows his harp from streets to venues. The result is a handcrafted repertoire mixing intimate acoustic folk-blues with feverish rock 'n roll sounds.

Itch (with itchvan)

Itch can take you from Dirty to Flirty and back again. Fiona's soaring vocals over Anthony's assured guitar strings are an invitation into a world of raw emotion tempered with a smile which only good music can bring.

Bob Drury presents

The Neil Diamond Story

St Mary's Arts Centre

The life of a legend in song…

In a new ‘one-man’ theatre show, singer and guitarist Bob Drury celebrates the life and music of the legend that is Neil Diamond.

The show tracks Neil’s remarkable journey from unknown and struggling New York songwriter to international mega-star and includes music from every stage of a staggering and hit-filled 47 year music career. ‘Solitary Man’, ‘Cracklin’ Rosie’, ‘Sweet Caroline’, ‘Love on The Rocks’, ‘America’, ‘Hello Again’, ‘I Am I Said’, and more will be performed by Bob alongside Neil’s more recent acoustic material such as ‘Pretty Amazing Grace’, ‘Oh Mary’ and ‘Delirious Love’.

Undoubtedly one of the UK’s finest vocal tributes to Neil Diamond, Bob has performed the songs for a number of years as part of his Neil Diamond tribute shows throughout the UK and overseas. He has been described as the UK’s ‘voice of Neil’…

“If I didn’t know better I’d have said that was Neil Diamond singing” Pat Marsh BBC Radio Kent.

“….oozing class” Nolan Dean, Cruise Director, Island Star

“Bob Drury’s talent and love of the songs captured his audience treating them to many encores and still leaving them wanting more!” Trudi Kingham, Artistic Director, Granville Theatre, Ramsgate
