Delf Farm Shop Field
SANDWICH MEDIEVAL FAYRE
Throughout the weekend of 22nd and 23rd June you can step back in time, once again, at the Delf Farm Shop field, in Sandwich, which will be transformed into a medieval encampment, market and fayre. There will be traditional crafts, traders, living history, entertainments, foods and drinks and surprises and an experience of medieval sites, sounds and smells. Sandwich Medieval Fayre is aimed at promoting traditional craft, local food and produce traders as well as a celebration of Medieval Sandwich.
Local produce will be available at the Delf Farm Shop site. There will be a Tavern serving food each day and a Beer Tent selling real ale, fruit wines, mead and cider on the field site.
Visitors are encouraged to be costumed during the weekend and are welcome to come along ready attired. There will be a few costumes to hire at the event which will make a good photo opportunity especially if you’re put in the stocks !
The opening times for each day of the weekend are from 10am until 5pm. Entry to the field is £2 for Adults and £1 for children. Free Parking will be available opposite at Sandwich Technology School. Parking at the farmshop site will be restricted to shop customers or for disabled visitors.
